Avalon
Description

Avalon pits the forces of Good and Evil in a battle to control the future of civilization. Arthur represents the future of Britain, a promise of prosperity and honor, yet hidden among his brave warriors are Mordred's unscrupulous minions.

These forces of evil are few in number but have knowledge of each other and remain hidden from all but one of Arthur's servants. Merlin alone knows the agents of evil, but he must speak of this only in riddles. If his true identity is discovered, all will be lost.

Avalon is a spin-off game of The Resistance, a party game that challenges players to deduce one another's identities. You may have played similar games such as One Night Ultimate Werewolf & Secret Hitler.

Objective

Good wins the game by successfully completing three Quests. Evil wins if three Quests end in failure. Evil can also win by assassinating Merlin at game's end or if a Quest cannot be undertaken.

Summary

The Resistance: Avalon is a game of hidden loyalty. Players are either Loyal Servants of Arthur fighting for Goodness and honor or aligned with the Evil ways of Mordred.

Players may make any claims during the game, at any point in the game. Discussion, deception, accusation, and logical deduction are all equally important in order for Good to prevail or Evil to rule the day.

All the Baby Armies left on the table will combine forces to attack all players. The player with the strongest combined Monster Army who can beat the combined Baby Army will win the battle and collect the final points. Codenames
      Description

Two rival spymasters know the secret identities of 25 agents. Their teammates know the agents only by their Codenames.

In this game, two teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first. Spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the board. Their teammates try to guess words of the right color while avoiding those that belong to the opposing team. And everyone wants to avoid the assassin.

Regardless whether you win or lose, it's still tons of fun to figure out the clues.

      Objective

The first team that made contact with all their agents wins the game!

Either team also wins the game immediately if the opposing team made contact with the assassin.

      Summary
      • Players split up into two teams of similar size and skill. You need at least four players (two teams of two) for a standard game.
      • Each team chooses one player to be their spymaster. Both spymasters sit on the same side of the table. The other players sit across from their spymasters.
      • Randomly choose 25 codenames and place them on the table in a 5-by-5 grid.
      • Each game has one key that reveals the secret identities of the cards on the table. The spymasters should choose the key card randomly and slide it into the stand between them.
      • The four lights around the edge of the key card indicate which team starts. The starting team has 9 words to guess. The other team has 8. The starting team will give the first clue of the game.
      • When the spymaster gives a clue, his or her field operatives try to figure out what it means. They can debate it among themselves, but the spymaster must keep a straight face.
      • The game ends when one team has all their words covered. That team wins. It is possible to win on the other team's turn if they guess your last word.

            Coup
            Description

You are head of a family in an Italian city-state, a city run by a weak and corrupt court. You need to manipulate, bluff and bribe your way to power.

            Objective

Your object is to destroy the influence of all the other families, forcing them into exile. Only one family will survive...

In Coup, you want to be the last player with influence in the game, with influence being represented by face-down character cards in your playing area.

            Summary

Each player starts the game with two coins and two influence – i.e., two face-down character cards; the fifteen card deck consists of three copies of five different characters, each with a unique set of powers:

            • Duke: Take three coins from the treasury. Block someone from taking foreign aid.
            • Assassin: Pay three coins and try to assassinate another player's character.
            • Contessa: Block an assassination attempt against yourself.
            • Captain: Take two coins from another player, or block someone from stealing coins from you.
            • Ambassador: Draw two character cards from the Court (the deck), choose which (if any) to exchange with your face-down characters, then return two. Block someone from stealing coins from you.

On your turn, you can take any of the actions listed above, regardless of which characters you actually have in front of you, or you can take one of three other actions:

            • Income: Take one coin from the treasury.
            • Foreign aid: Take two coins from the treasury.
            • Coup: Pay seven coins and launch a coup against an opponent, forcing that player to lose an influence. (If you have ten coins or more, you must take this action.)

When you take one of the character actions – whether actively on your turn, or defensively in response to someone else's action – that character's action automatically succeeds unless an opponent challenges you. In this case, if you can't (or don't) reveal the appropriate character, you lose an influence, turning one of your characters face-up. Face-up characters cannot be used, and if both of your characters are face-up, you're out of the game.

If you do have the character in question and choose to reveal it, the opponent loses an influence, then you shuffle that character into the deck and draw a new one, perhaps getting the same character again and perhaps not.

The last player to still have influence – that is, a face-down character – wins the game!

Red team aims to gun down the VIP, while Blue team aims to protect the VIP.

              Summary

Crossfire is an exciting social deduction, hidden role game set in the world of Specter Ops.

Each player has a hidden role which defines their objective. The roles in the game vary by the player count, and there are two ways to play.

              Crossfire Mode

In Crossfire Mode, players are split into Blue & Red team. The Red team will try to find & gun down the VIP while the Blue team needs to protect the VIP.

              • Roles are dealt at the start of a round, but it’s not a straightforward deal. The number of roles in the game is determined by player count.
              • First everyone is given a role card (& a chance to look at it).
              • Then everyone pass that card to the left and looks at their new role.
              • Next, every 3rd player shuffles their role cards with their neighbors’ on either side, and deals them back out again – and finally, everyone has their final role.
              • Players then have 3 minutes (timer) to gather information from other players by discussing what roles each of the players saw during setup & also by looking at what role players are claiming to be.
              • Players are free to lie & can say anything but he/she cannot reveal their role card before time runs out.
              • When the timer runs out, players will point their fingers/gun at one other player.

              Win Conditions

              • VIP: This player is on the blue team and wins if not shot.
              • Agents: These players are on the blue team & win if the VIP is not shot. Their primary goal is to shoot the Assassins.
              • Assassins: These players are on the red team & win if the VIP is shot. Their primary goal is to shoot the VIP.
              • Decoy: This player is not on either team & wins if shot.
              • Red Decoy: This player is on the red team & wins if the VIP is shot or if the Red Decoy shot by an Agent.
              • Blue Decoy: This player is on the blue team & wins if the VIP is not shot or if he/she is shot by an Assassin.
              • Bystander: This player is not on either team & wins if they are not shot. If they are shot, both this player & the shooter lose.

              Sniper Mode

In Sniper Mode, one player is a Sniper who will attempt to shoot all of the Assassins in play. One player is chosen as the Sniper, and then role cards are put into the game.

              • The roles in the game are the same as in Crossfire mode, although the makeup of the group once again varies by player count.
              • The sniper gets a number of sniper shot cards equal to the number of Assassins in play.
              • From there on out, gameplay is the same as in Crossfire, except the Sniper isn’t part of the card shuffling. The Sniper must place a sniper shot card in front of each player he suspects to be an assassin before the timer runs out.

              Win Conditions

              • Once time is up, if all Assassins are shot, the blue team wins.
              • If the Sniper shot a Bystander or the VIP, the red team wins.
              • If neither team has won, the Assassins who aren’t shot reveal their role cards, the Sniper does a 3-2-1 countdown, and if the Assassins shot the VIP but not the bystander, the red team wins.
              • Otherwise, the blue team wins.

Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game
                Description

Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game is a meta-cooperative psychological survival game that puts players in a small, weakened colony of survivors in a world where most of humanity is either dead or diseased, flesh-craving monsters.

Players work together towards a common victory condition, but for each individual player to achieve victory, he or she must also complete their own personal secret objective.

This secret objective could relate to a psychological tic that's fairly harmless to most others in the colony, a dangerous obsession that could put the main objective at risk, a desire for sabotage of the main mission, or (worst of all) vengeance against the colony!

With this unique story-centric style of game play, it allows infinite re-playability as every game is different from the last one. Certain games could end with all players winning, some winning and some losing, or even all players losing!

                Objective

In Dead of Winter, players are a colony of survivors trying to survive a hazardous winter in the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse.

The colony has an objective they are trying to complete, but each player also controls a group of survivors that has a secret objective. Often this secret objective requires that a player help complete the colony objective. Only players who have completed their secret objective when the game ends will win.

The game can end in a variety of ways: If the morale track reaches 0, if the round track reaches 0, or if the main objective is completed.

                    Don't Lose Your Cool
                    Description

Inspired by viral challenges that have gathered billions of views across the Internet, this game tests one's ability to remain calm under pressure. Players wear the Cool-O-Meter unit that measures heart rate, the opposing team rolls the dice that will determine how they'll try to get a player to get flustered. For example, opponents might have to get up close to the player and sniff them, or make pig noises. If the player reacts -laughs, cringes, flinches, etc., their heart rate may go up and the meter will rise. They might think that they can hide their reactions, but the Cool-O-Meter will show what's really going on! When the meter gets high enough, the lights get to red, the alarm will sound, and the opponent wins that round for making them lose their composure.

                    Objective

Goal of the game is to get their opponent to lose their cool!

                    Summary
                    • Keep calm & carry on.
                    • Use lots of wacky ways to get opponent to react.
                    • Unit features lights & sounds.
                    • Stay composed or the alarm on the meter will go off!

                    DOS
                    Description

UNO has a new best friend, DOS!

In this fun game, two is more important than one and numbers are king!  To start, there are two piles in the middle of the participants, and on each player’s turn they can play on both piles with either one or two cards.

In a fun twist, if a player has two cards that add up to the number of the card in the center pile, they are able to put down both cards. Just like UNO, DOS is a race to get rid of your cards before your competitors do. The first person to 200 points is the winner!

And in yet another fun twist, now when you’re down to two cards, don’t forget to yell “DOS!” has a 108-card deck plus instructions. For 2 to 4 players. Ages 7 and older.

                    Objective

The goal is to be the first to get rid of all your cards, and in this version when there are two cards to go, don't forget to yell "Dos!”

                    Summary
                    • Match the numbers to any of the face up cards in the center row.
                    • You can play one match for each card in the center row.
                    • You can also combine two cards from your hand that add up to the number you wish to match.
                    • If the card(s) you played match both number and colour, you earn the right to place extra cards from your hand in the center row and even force other players to draw cards.
                    • Lastly, don't forget to yell "Dos!" whenever you have two cards in your hand

                    Exploding Kittens
                    Description

Exploding Kittens is a kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette. Players take turns drawing cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and loses the game. The deck is made up of cards that let you avoid exploding by peeking at cards before you draw, forcing your opponent to draw multiple cards, or shuffling the deck.

                    Objective

Make your friend explode by draw the last exploding kitten and lose the game.

                    Summary
                    • Remove all the Exploding Kittens and Defuse cards  from the deck. Shuffle the remaining deck and deal 4 cards and 1 Defuse card facing down to each player.
                    • Insert one less Exploding Kittens than the number of player back into the deck. Remove any extra Exploding Kittens from the game.
                    • Insert the extra Defuse cards back in the deck.
                    • Shuffle the deck, and put it face down in the middle of the table. This is your Draw Pile. Pick a player to go first.
                    • Play the game by putting the deck face down and taking turns drawing cards off the top until someone draws an Exploding Kitten
                    • Play a card from your hand by placing it face up on top of the Discard Pile, and following the instructions on the card. Or play no cards at all; that's cool too.
                    • After you follow the instructions on a card or play a Pair, you can play more cards. You can play as many cards as you'd like.
                    • End your turn by drawing a card from the top of the Draw Pile into your hand and hoping it's not an Exploding Kitten.
                    • Play continues clockwise around the table.

                    (Additional Rules):

                    • Put the Defuse back in the big deck.
                       2 Players = 2 Defuser added
                    • Know what the cards mean as you draw them:
Exploding Kitten: Eliminates you immediately unless you use a defuse card. You may put the Exploding Kitten anywhere in the deck after you use a Defuse card.

Favor: Player picks any opponent to give them a card of the opponent's choice.

Nope: Used any time during the game to stop any action except against an Exploding Kitten or a Defuse card. Totally possible to "nope" a "nope".

Attack: Forces the next player to go twice, and you don't need to draw a card at the end of your turn.

"Double slap" and "Triple slap": Forces anyone playing to take two or three turns in a row.

Skip: Skip your turn without drawing a card.

                      Shuffle: Shuffle the deck.

"See the Future": See the next three cards in the deck.

"Alter the Future": Rearrange the next three cards in the deck.

"Draw from the Bottom": End your turn by drawing from the bottom of the deck instead of the top.

Cat: Aren't useful by themselves but can be used in Special Combos or Pairs.

"Feral Cat": Use the card as any cat card.
                    • Play pairs/special combos:
Doubles (Two of a Kind) of the same card that has no instructions on it you can play them, allowing you to draw a random card from your opponent of choice.
Triples (Three of a Kind) of a card with no instructions you get to ask any opponent for any card. If they do not have the card you ask for you get nothing. If they do you get to keep that card.
Five different cat cards, then dive into the discard pile and grab any card you want.
In Advanced Play, any two or three cards with matching icons in their corners can be played as pairs, rather than only instruction-less cards. And if you have five cards with different icons in the corners (with or without instructions) then you can look through the Discard Pile and grab any card you want.

There will be Major Stealing, Instruments will be placed Under A Rest, and Chords will get Blocked... Chord Blocked. Not even Minors will be spared.

But eventually, the measure will reach a Resolution, one Instrument will reign
Dominant, a new Lord of the Chords will be crowned, and harmony will rule the lands again.

Lord of the Chords is a game where you take turns to draw cards from the

                    • Rely on weaker cards for too long, and your letter may be tossed in the fire!

                    Monopoly - Anniversary
                    Description

Celebrate the 80th anniversary of the classic game of Monopoly. This anniversary version of the classic fast-trading property game features tokens from the 1930s all the way to the 2000s.

With a retro game board and cards, the game takes back to when it all began, but you still have to build your houses and hotels and see if you can bankrupt everyone else. You better keep an eye on your money, because you never know when the dice will land you with a massive rent bill to pay.

                    Objective

Become the wealthiest player by buying, selling, trading and collecting rent on properties. Depending on how long you want to play, you can either play until all but one player has gone bankrupt or set a time limit and crown the richest player the champion.

                    Summary
                    • Each player chooses a token and one player is selected as the banker.
                    • The banker distributes $1,500 in Monopoly money to all players: two $500s, $100s and $50s; six $20s; five each of $10s, $5s and $1s.
                    • The highest roll of the dice start in the GO square and move clockwise around the board.
                    • Land on an available property and you can buy it with the price listed on the title and opponents have to pay you rent when they land on your square.
                    • There are Chance and Community Chest cards, tax squares and go to jail to spice up your game!

                    (Additional Rules)

                    • If you buy all of the properties in the same color group, then you have a monopoly, allowing you to charge double the listed rent and you can start to build houses and eventually a hotel, raising the rent further.
                    • If you land on an available property, but decline to buy it, the banker may auction the property to the highest bidder. The banker starts the bidding at any price and all players can participate, including the banker and the player who originally declined the property.
                    • Get out of jail three ways: using the "Get out of Jail Free" card, rolling doubles on one of three consecutive turns or paying your way out with $50. If you don't roll doubles after three turns, you have to pay $50 to get out of jail. While in jail, you can still buy or sell properties, build houses and hotels and collect rent.
                    • Trading and private sales of properties between players is not only legal, but highly encouraged. The only thing that players cannot do is give private loans. Only the banker can mortgage a property. The fixed interest rate for "lifting" a mortgage is 10 percent of the price on the title.
                    • A player goes bankrupt when he or she doesn't have enough cash or assets to pay the bank or another player. Players can sell houses and hotels back to the bank for half of their original value -- but if that doesn't provide enough cash, the bankrupt player forfeits all properties to the bank or an opponent and is out of the game.

                    Monopoly - Cheaters
                    Description

Make this wildly different Monopoly game a favorite go-to game for game nights and other fun get-togethers. Lean into those iconic (yet unspoken) Monopoly moments in which rules are bent, money is borrowed, and funny business is welcomed. The outlandish suggestions on the board, cards, and rules encourage players to express their inner cheater to own it all while they buy, sell, dream, and scheme. Fake a die roll, steal some bills from the bank, and even skip out on rent. Complete a cheat to get a reward, but fail a cheat and pay the consequences! No houses in this edition – only hotels – and pretend handcuff unit may leave players ""chained"" to the board.

                    Objective

Force other players to go bankrupt to win the game!

                    Summary
                    • Players are encouraged to follow, bend or break the rules to win this game.
                    • Try to get away with as many cheats as you can
                    • Cheat cards tell players which cheats to attempt
                    • If you are sent to jail, you will get handcuffed!

Instead of collecting as much cash as possible, players are challenged to rack up the most Experiences to win. Travel around the board discovering and visiting cool places to eat, shop, and relax. Interact with other players via Chance and Community Chest cards, (which are super relatable). And players don't pay rent, they visit one another, earning more Experience points. This board game is a great way to bring a fun and relaxed vibe to a party or casual get-together.

                      Objective

In this version of the Monopoly game, the player who collects the most experiences, not the most money wins the game

                      Summary

Collect Experience points by visiting the hottest Destinations! From your Friend's Couch, to the Vegan Bistro, to a Week-Long Meditation Retreat.
Collect money from players who visit the Destinations you discovered first.

                      Monopoly Deal
                      Description

The Monopoly Brand Deal  is all the fun of the Classic Monopoly game in a quick-playing card game. It comes with 110 cards including Property Cards, Rent Cards, House and Hotel Cards, and Wild Property Cards. Action Cards let players do things such as charge rent and make tricky deals. House and Hotel Cards raise rent values. Wild Property Cards help players build Property sets. And, players pay their debts with Money Cards. This card game is a great way to play the Fast-Dealing Property Trading Game in as little as 15 minutes!

                      Objective

Be the first player to collect 3 complete Property Card sets in different colors to win.

                      Summary
                      • Distribute 5 cards to each player face down. Place remaining cards face down in the center as draw pile.
                      • Each player must take 2 cards when their turn starts.
                      • Each player can play up to 3 actions each turn, which includes property cards, Action cards, Money cards or any combination of the three.
                      • Use action cards to take money, even properties from your rivals.
                      • Lay out the properties.
                      • Upon finishing your turn, if you have more than 7 cards in your hand you must choose some cards to discard to the bottom of the draw pile to keep to 7 cards in your hand.
                      • A player wins when they have 3 sets of different colored properties on his turn. This means that there is only one winner for any one game.

                      (Additional Rules):

                      • If a player has no cards when their turn starts, they draw 5 cards on their turn.
                      • Put money/action cards into the bank. If an action card is put into the bank, it will be treated as money until the game ends.
                      • If your rival(s) request you to pay money you may choose to pay in cash or property from the table. If you don't have any cards in front of you, you don't have to pay any cards on your hand. You still have to pay from a complete set. Change is not given if you overpay. The multi-coloured property wild cards are an exception to this: They do not need to be given away to pay off fees to your rival(s) as they do not have any monetary value, so they can only be taken away by Deal Breaker, Sly Deal and Force Deal action cards.
                      • Usually, if there are no longer any cards left in the Draw Pile, a player would shuffle the cards remaining in the Play Pile and draw the card(s) required.
                      • You may put a house, then a hotel on a property full set if you have one, except Railroads and Utilities.

                      Monster Misfits
                      Description

Monster Misfits is a ridiculous card game where dancing, hairy & all sorts of weird monsters battle out in their four different realms for supremacy.

The game is so quick to learn it's perfect for family gathering & for that one friend that dislike games as there is too much to learn. Monster Misfits combines casual game play with strategic elements and 'lovable' monsters.

Get rid of all your cards to win! You can either match the value of a monster from any realm, or beat its value from the same realm. It plays similar to the classic game of UNOs, but with a lot more twists with the additions of Chaos Realm cards.

Use the Chaos Realm cards to wreak havoc against your enemies. But beware! These cards can completely change the game and are not always in your favor.

Base game supports up to 5 players, or you can choose to combine it with another game deck for up to 10 players!

                      Objective

The game is so so simple. Get rid of all your cards to win!

                      How to play

Each player is dealt 8 cards with each player taking turns in clockwise order.

Place the top card to the deck face up on a play area, that will be the card to start you off. If it's a chaos card place the card at the bottom of the deck and open another until you got a normal realm card.

Take turns by playing cards that match the value of a monster from any realm, or beat its value from the same realm.

You may also choose to play a chaos card to mess up the game or save yourself! Follow the instruction on the card.

Even if you have played a chaos card, you still must always play a realm card to end your turn. If you can play any, then you must draw a card from the deck.

You may play multiple cards at once if they are of the same value.

If an entire round pass where no other players can play a realm card, the pile is dead and goes to the discard pile.

When you have no cards remaining in your hand at the end of your turn, you win the game!

                          Pandemic
                          Description

In this game of Pandemic, you and your team are the only things standing in the way of deadly diseases that threaten the world. The fate of humanity is in your hands!

As skilled members of a disease-fighting team, you and the other players work together to keep the world safe from outbreaks and epidemics. Only through teamwork will you have a chance to find a cure.

Pandemic is a cooperative board game in which players work as a team to treat infections around the world while gathering resources for cures. The game's unique combination of cooperative game play, engrossing premise, and compelling design have proved a hit with everyone from hardcore gamers to casual players alike.

                          Objective

In this cooperative game, players win when they managed to discover the cure to all four diseases.

But, there are also 3 ways for the game to end and for the players to lose:

                          • When the Outbreaks marker reaches the last space of the Outbreaks Track,
                          • When players are unable to place the number of disease cubes actually needed on the board, or
                          • When a player cannot draw 2 Player cards after doing his actions.
                          How to play

Each player turn is divided into 3 parts:

                          1. Do 4 actions.
                          2. Draw 2 Player cards.
                          3. Infect cities.

After a player is done infecting cities, the player on their left goes next. Players should freely give each other advice. Let everyone offer opinions and ideas. However, the player whose turn it is decides what to do.

Your hand can have City and Event cards in it. City cards are used in some actions and Event cards can be played at any time.

Players take on the role of dwarves. As miners, they are in a mine, hunting for gold. Suddenly, a pick axe swings down and shatters the mine lamp. The saboteur has struck. But which of the players are saboteurs? Will you find the gold, or will the fiendish actions of the saboteurs lead them to it first?

                                    Objective

The miners are trying to build an uninterrupted path from the Start Card to a Goal Card, while the saboteurs are trying to prevent this. Win with the most gold after 3 rounds!

                                    Summary
                                    • Players are assigned miner or saboteur and kept secret.
                                    • On a player's turn, he place a Path Card into the mine or play an Action Card in front of a player, or pass.
                                    • The Path Cards form paths leading to the Goal Cards. Path Cards are played next to an already-played Path Card. All paths on the Path Card must match those on the already-played cards, and Path Cards may not be played sideways.
                                    • Action Cards can be placed in front of any player, including oneself. Action Cards let the players help or hinder one another, as well as obtain information about the Goal Cards.
                                    • Once a player places a Path Card that reaches the gold, the round is over. The miners have won and receive cards with gold pieces as their reward.
                                    • The round is also over if the gold could not be reached. In that case, the saboteurs have won and receive the gold pieces.
                                    • Once the Gold Cards have been distributed, the next round begins.
                                    • Game ends after the third round, with the player with the most gold pieces being the winner.

                                    Santorini
                                    Description

Build like a mortal, win like a God in the game of Santorini, the strategic family board game that is designed simple enough for an elementary school classroom while aiming to provide game play depth and content for even hardcore gamers to explore.

In this elegant and visually appealing board game, you play as one of the Greek Gods competing with each other to best aid the island citizen in building their beautiful village

Their incredibly simple game play will have you learning the game in under 20 minutes if you are totally new and would bring about tons of adventures with friends and family alike.

                                    Objective

The objective is simple: Be the first player to build, block, and climb your way to the top of a tower three stories high.

If one of your Workers moves up on top of level 3 during your turn, you instantly win! You must always perform a move then build on your turn. If you are unable to, you lose.

                                    How to play

The rules are simple. Each player turn consists of 2 steps:

                                    1. Move - move one of your builders into a neighboring space. You may move your Builder Pawn on the same level, step-up one level, or step down any number of levels.

                                    2. Build - Then construct a building level adjacent to the builder you moved. When building on top of the third level, place a dome instead, removing that space from play.

Winning the game - If either of your builders reaches the third level, you win.

Variable player powers - Santorini features variable player powers layered over an otherwise abstract game, with 40 thematic god and hero powers that fundamentally change the way the game is played.
